Marc obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin in 1993. Prior to making the decision to pursue a career in law, he worked as a laboratory technician, quality assurance coordinator, and database designer for non-profit, healthcare entity in Austin, Texas. Marc obtained his law degree from the Baylor University School of Law in 2000. While in law school, Marc was selected as a recipient of the Jim Barlow Memorial Award, for outstanding internship accomplishment, and completed a summer law semester in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Following law school, Marc worked briefly as a clerk and then attorney with a small plaintiffs' personal injury firm in Austin, Texas. In 2002, he accepted an associate attorney position with Evans & Rowe, a respected medical malpractice defense firm in San Antonio. After approximately 5 1/2 years with Evans & Rowe, Marc left to join the San Antonio office of Wigington Rumley, L.L.P.

Marc is licensed to practice in Texas state courts and is a member of the State Bar of Texas and San Antonio Bar Association. He has represented clients at hearings and depositions throughout the State of Texas and United States. Marc has also appeared as a pro hac vice attorney in the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas and the United States Bankruptcy Court in San Antonio.
