Joseph received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from Georgia Southern University in 1999. He then obtained his law degree from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2002 where he graduated with honors. While at the University of Tulsa, Joseph was an editor with the Tulsa Journal of Comparative & International Law. During Joseph's tenure as an editor his comment entitled "They'll Make You an Offer You Can't Refuse." 9 Tulsa J. Comp. & Intl'l L. 569 was selected for publication.

After graduating from law school, Joseph obtained his LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida, one of the top Tax Law programs in the country. After graduating from the University of Florida, Joseph joined the law firm of Oden & Jones, LL.P. representing clients in the areas of Tax Planning, Corporate Reorganizations and Estate Planning. Joseph next joined the Civil Defense firm of English & Clemons, LLP. in Corpus Christi, Texas. At English & Clemons, LLP, Joseph tried numerous personal injury lawsuits throughout South Texas. Joseph currently serves on the State Bar of Texas Grievance committee evaluating grievance filings, and participating in evidentiary hearings. Joseph is licensed to practice law in Texas and U.S. District Court as well as the US Tax Court.
