At 5:43 p.m. on March 26, 2002, plaintiff's decedent Lisa Brewer, 39, a substitute school teacher, was driving her 1986 Ford Bronco II south on Highway 36 near Gatesville when another vehicle driven by Betty Kinder failed to yield the right of way and struck Brewer's Bronco.
