Jeff Wigington and David Rumley formed the law firm of Wigington Rumley, L.L.P. in February of 2002. Within one year of the firm’s inception, Wigington Rumley, L.L.P. obtained a $225,000,000 verdict against Ford Motor Company. This multi-million dollar verdict is considered the largest award of actual damages in the history of the State of Texas, and the largest reported award of compensatory damages against Ford Motor Company.
In January 2009, Jeff and David invited respected San Antonio trial lawyer and native Texan Joe Dunn to partner with them in the firm, and the law firm became known as Wigington Rumley Dunn, L.L.P.
